Saturday was my second jab and the sun was shining. I decided this weekend to ignore royal funerals, politics and other bad news and count my blessings. Sometimes you just should.

As the pubs open and Community Sports becomes possible all we need is some warm weather for a smile on our faces. Watching Women’s Rugby development is a positive that the media seems slow to wake up to.

Forget 1984 – 2024 is coming.
Orwell’s 1984 paints a picture though I have always found Huxley’s dystopia ‘closer to home’. In either case, Covid Passports, new Police Powers and whitewashing Racism all seem a step in their direction. As Huxley said “To parody the words of W. Churchill, never have so many been manipulated so much by few.”
