Let me start by thanking everyone for coming – without you there was no point in doing anything. Then let me thank everyone at Old Isleworthians for the support with a special shout out to Kim and all the bar staff. If you thought Old Isleworthian’s had a nice feel then please do get in tounch to join as a social member or the Rugby, Football or Cricket sections. we always welcome new members and the place is available for event hire. just give me a hola or check out http://www.isleworthians.co.uk/
I would also like to say how fantastic Ed Emeka Keazor and the Lagos Funk Collective were, you were on fire guys. Dave Samuel’s ‘Black Light‘ then kicked in – when they opened up with a Kinks classic i knew we would be dancing until late. Big Up too to The Suya Factory for outstanding and authentic Naija grub and Kayode and Lynn of Kato Enterprises for providing the African beer – for me the evening is only complete when I have my Nigerian Guinness and it seems i have a bottle in my hand in every picture.
So here are a selection of photos – its such a shame that not everyone was captured but check out to see if you are in shot looking cool or dancing like a weirdo. They are pretty random but they capture the evening. Feel free to send more as I can always add them.
